Solo Artist, Songwriter, Storyteller

In these extraordinary days of coronavirus, cancelled gigs and lack of regular income, I have set up a virtual Tip-Jar to help me continue to employ and pay musicians, to commission and pay artists, studio engineers, distributors and all the other creative people involved across my productions

Thank you for your continued support of me and, in turn, all of the people who are connected to the work I do:

Scottish solo artist, songwriter, composer and performer Wily Bo Walker is noted for the cinematic storytelling in his work, his characterful vocals and swaggering ‘live’ performances

With a career spanning more than 40 years, not only has Wily Bo been inducted in the U.S. Blues Hall of Fame as a ‘Master Blues Artist’, but he also works in, and is recognised across, many other genres; Rock, AAA, Americana, Blues, Gospel, Soul, Classic R&B, Soundtrack and Jazz

The 2018 album collection ‘Almost Transparent Blues‘ released on CD, download and streaming sites reached the Top 30 in the Roots Music Report U.S. Blues album charts and was No 1 in the UK Album charts for 5 weeks

A double album, ‘The Roads We Ride’ , a film noir storyboard and soundtrack by Wily Bo & E D Brayshaw, was released on 15th March 2019 featuring the beautiful artwork by Zhana D’Arte, who also created the wonderful cover for ‘Moon Over Indigo’, Wily Bo’s release from 2015

On 31st July 2020, ‘Ain’t No Man A Good Man’, an album collaboration with Danny Flam and a host of friends will be released on CD as well as download and streaming sites. A companion album, ‘Tales of the Mescal Canyon Troubadours’, will feature tales and drunken fables from the master of story-telling and will be released early 2021. ‘Tales of the MCT’ sees Wily Bo Walker weave his cinematic stories and revisit songs from his back-catalog, retelling them in a whole new groovalicious, roof liftin’, funkin’ and rockin’ blues style

In the second half of 2020, Wily will premiere his next collection of songs with E D Brayshaw under the title of ‘Some People Kill for Passion (Welcome to VoodooVille)’ (“there are 8 million stories in VoodooVille, these are just a few of them…” ) and perform his dark Americana, swampy blues acoustic based ‘live’ shows alongside E D Brayshaw and a host of brilliant talented musicians with both his Acoustic Band and his Electric Band

He is also producing the music and soundtrack album for ‘The Rattlin Bone Theatre Show’ a theatre production that will open at a London Theatre late 2021

All roads lead to VoodooVille…
