About

Wily Bo Walker is a solo artist, songwriter, composer and performer noted for his characterful vocals and swaggering ‘live’ performances

Renowned as being a diverse and prolific artist and hailing originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Wily Bo works across many styles and genres

Flying the flag for British Independent Blues, Wily Bo Walker is one of a very few independent blues artists from the U.K. to be inducted in to the U.S. Blues Hall of Fame

With a career spanning more than 40 years, Wily Bo works across many styles and genres; Blues, Gospel, Soul, Classic R&B, Jazz, Rock, AAA and Americana

A solo artist, songwriter, composer and performer noted for his characterful vocals and swaggering ‘live’ performances, he has played ‘live’ worldwide with many award-winning musicians and featured on many hundreds of recordings

From his huge New York based ‘blues and soul review’ productions and recording projects to his UK based, New Orleans themed, ’Rattlin Bone Theatre Show’, from his solo acoustic swamp’n’stomp shows through to his stripped-down 4 piece rockin’ Blues and Americana themed ‘Wily Bo Walker Band’, Wily Bo proves why he has been recognised as an Artist who can twist genres into new forms and is worthy of the U.S. Blues Hall of Fame accolade of ‘Master Blues Artist’

For 2018, Wily Bo has a number of new records that he is working on:

Alongside his regular ‘single’ releases, the first official CD album release of 2018 will be ‘Almost Transparent Blues’ ; a collection of blues-infused songs highlighting some of Wily Bo’s styles and his forthcoming releases

Working again with guitar supremo E. D. Brayshaw, the album ‘The Roads We Ride’ is the next planned release and will complete the stories started with their previously acclaimed ’Stone Cold Beautiful’ album

Expanding upon the success of his solo album ‘Moon Over Indigo’ , Wily Bo and Grammy Award winning artist Danny Flam, have been working with some of the cream of the U.K. blues scene. The album will be entitled ‘Tales of The Mescal Canyon Troubadours’

Rounding off the year and his new collection of album releases,’Troubadour Jams’ will feature many friends and guests reworking previous Wily Bo songs in new ways…

All roads lead to VoodooVille in 2019…
