About

Wily Bo Walker is an award-winning solo artist, songwriter, composer and performer noted for his swaggering ‘live’ performances

Working primarily in multi-genre songwriting, storytelling, performance and production he is also regarded as one of the top blues vocalists in Europe and is one of very few independent artists from the U.K. who have been inducted in to the U.S. Blues Hall of Fame

With a career spanning more than 40 years, Wily Bo works across many styles and genres; Rock, Blues, Gospel, Soul, Classic R&B, Jazz, AAA and Americana and has played ‘live’ worldwide with many award-winning musicians, featuring on hundreds of recordings

From his huge New York styled ‘blues and soul revue’ recording projects to his New Orleans themed, ’Rattlin Bone Burlesque Theatre Show’, his ‘live’n’kickin’ electric 5 piece band, his solo acoustic swamp’n’stomp shows through to his stripped-down 6 piece rockin’ Blues and Americana themed ‘The Wily Bo Walker Acoustic Band’, Wily Bo proves why he has been widely recognised as an Artist who can twist genres into new forms

In 2021, Wily will be working with E D Brayshaw on their next release, ‘Some People Kill for Passion’, which will again feature their dark Americana, Gothic noir, swampy blues tales and soaring guitar solos which have heavily featured in his recent ‘live’ shows with both his Acoustic Band and his Electric Band

Wily Bo is also producing the music and soundtrack album for ‘The Rattlin Bone Burlesque Theatre Show’ a theatre production that will open at a London Theatre late 2022 and will also feature as part of Wily Bo’s ‘VoodooVille’ collection of stories and albums…
